Sharing The Experience Of A Lifetime

RSVP Santa Rosa will continue to promote volunteerism and with our state and community partners increase the visibility and impact of our volunteering.  RSVP volunteers,serving through non-profit and public agencies, have been making contributions of their time, experience, and talents to Santa Rosa County since 1991 meeting critical community needs.  In fiscal year 2005, approximately 520 volunteers have shared their time, talents, skills and knowledge throughout Santa Rosa County.  They have volunteered over 120,000 hours of their time in areas such as:  Education, Disaster Relief, National Service, etc.  Giving anywhere from 4 - 40 hours per week, RSVP volunteers help solve problems in their communities.

Among their many accomplishments, RSVP volunteers:

Provide food for the homeless and hungry;

Help local law enforcement make Santa Rosa safer;

Protect fragile rivers and forests;

Change lives by mentoring and tutoring young people; and

Emergency Operations

RSVP volunteers have lived in Santa Rosa County for a long time. Whether teaching children or adults to read, making hospital visits, helping people recover from Natural disasters or providing much need support to non-profit agencies, RSVP volunteers are making their community stronger.
